Chicken Little Farm is a solar-powered market garden near Treherne, Manitoba, offering fresh, locally produced vegetables, eggs, and poultry.

As farms go, it's tiny--a 2-acre, off-grid plot in the middle of a generational organic grain farm. But the impact of small-scale farming is huge.

We're not just growing food. We're also caring for the land that provides for us by feeding the soil, supporting native species (including those too small to see), and refining methods of food production in our challenging and changing climate.
